No Cash. For anything. For three months. That is GoCashless.co.za, a new initiative between Visa and Justmoney, your online guide to money. The idea is simple, The Cashless Ambassador will be spending the next three months without using cash for anything, armed with only his debit card he boldly strides out into the cashless economy, taking challenges from the public and just trying to get by with only a swipe. So what are the sort of challenges that he is expected to face?

GoCashless is a social experiment. It is designed to test just how close we are to the cashless society right now, here in South Africa. It asks questions like is it really possible to live without cash, using only a debit card to get by? The answers to questions like that will be answered over the next few months as the Cashless Ambassador tries to live a regular life without cash. The public is invited to get involved and set the Cashless Ambassador challenges to test if going cashless is really viable.

There are loads of prizes to give away and all you have to do is participate to win. The site itself is a clean, simple to use social site where you can upload your own pics and vote and comment on what the Cashless Ambassador is doing.
