The Government has proposed a National Health Care system called (NHI) that will be funded by all South African tax payers.  This health system would  be mandatory and would only offer a single base option to all South Africans. 

The implementation behind this processes is that private and public facilities would have to merge, in thought this might sound an easy transformation but being practical this will take some time. 

When NHI is implemented we feel that Private Health would still be need to complement the existing health system in place.
