We look at some last minute Easter deals, to keep everyone happy this holiday.

24 March 2015 · Staff Writer

Easter is just around the corner, and if you want to travel somewhere you need to make plans soon. It seems like the Mother City is the place to be this Easter, with most of the deals there.

However, if you are looking for general Easter Deals, then both Checkersand Pick n Paywill be having Easter deals on.

To save money it’s best to stay at home and have some chocolate, a nice braai, and enjoy the long weekend.

If you still want to get away, though, then we have looked at specials in Cape Town, Johannesburg, Durban, and to Mauritius.

Cape Town

If you feel like putting everyone in a car, and hitting the road there is a special on to explore South Africa’s gorgeous Garden Route.

You will enjoy the Wilderness National Park canoe session which is suitable for first timers, climb through the Cango Wildlife Park and also have a big five game drive.

Easter egg hunt:

It wouldn’t be Easter if there weren’t any Easter egg hunts. Table Mountain Aerial Cableway will be having an Easter egg hunt with the Easter Bunny, the Easter Fairy and the Mad Hatter.

The hunt will start at 10h00 to 13h00 on Easter Sunday.

Easter Weekend is a lovely time to spend with your family. Make sure that before you book your mini holiday away, that you have budgeted your money for the rest of the month, and even the year.

As much as it is great to get away, you do not want to be struggling the rest of the year to make ends meet. Staying at home can be just as relaxing as going away – it is all what you make it.
