The nine-week, part-time course starts on 23 May 2011 and is presented entirely online through GetSmarter’s innovative and supported online education platform.

The UCT Bookkeeping course is intended both for prospective and current bookkeepers. The UCT Bookkeeping course teaches students the principles of balancing accounts, entering data into ledgers and journals, understanding and registering for taxes and dealing with salaries, among other things. Every week, students learn practical skills that can be applied immediately in their jobs.
