Q:

I had a minor accident driving the school bus. I met two insurance agents, one of them said you are considered as a high-risk driver because of that accident, the other said ; no, the accident driving a commercial vehicle does not affect the quotation for your personal car use. Can you tell me which one is right?

A:

Any claim/incident you may have as a driver (whether in a personal or work capacity) will have to be disclosed whether you have a personal/commercial policy.  It is used to determine your specific claim frequency based on you as a driver.  The plus to this is that if you are noted as a nominated driver on a commercial policy – that Insurance history will be credited to you as well.
