1. Definitions and purpose of Terms and Conditions
In these Terms and Conditions, the following words and expressions shall have the following meaning:
Definitions
For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, the following definitions will apply:
“Browser-based app” refers to an internet-based portal where one can access the benefits of the JustMoney MyMoney Saver programme. This can be found at https://platform.debtbusters.co.za/.
“CBC” means CBC Rewards (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2016/195909/07, including all subsidiaries.
“Member” means a person who has an active JustMoney MyMoney Saver membership. Where the main member and the payer on the policy or product are not the same person, the programme benefits will be made available to the main member.
“Missed membership fee” refers to your monthly membership fee that is unpaid or not received by JustMoney.
“Paid membership fee” refers to a payment via DebiCheck or debit order.
"we", "us", "our” refers to JustMoney (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2007/012821/07.
"Website" refers the collection of web pages located at https://platform.debtbusters.co.za/.
“you”, “your” means a member, as defined above.
2. What is JustMoney MyMoney Saver?
- The JustMoney MyMoney Saver programme is a lifestyle and discount programme brought to you by CBC. It is available to any member/natural person who is over the age of 18 and pays the monthly fee.
- The non-insurance benefits offered to members are not financial products or services and are not regulated by the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services (FAIS) Act. You are not afforded the same protection as per the FAIS Act.
- Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience only and may be discontinued at any time. The fact that we provide a link to a third-party website neither means that we endorse, authorise, or sponsor that website, nor that we are affiliated to that website's owners or sponsors.
- Members are able to access a host of benefits via https://platform.debtbusters.co.za/.
3. Membership fee payments, cancellations, and reactivations
- Participation in the JustMoney MyMoney Saver programme is voluntary, and your membership application will be activated when you sign up on the browser-based app by providing your ID number, email address, phone number, first names, last name and your banking details.
- Recurring monthly membership payments for JustMoney MyMoney Saver will be processed in advance (i.e. payment is collected for the following month’s membership access), by either DebiCheck or a recurring debit order on the 25th of each month. In the event that the 25th of the month falls on a public holiday or over a weekend, the DebiCheck or debit order collection date will move to the business day prior to such public holiday or weekend.
- Members who select the DebiCheck payment method must accept the DebiCheck mandate on their account. If a mandate is declined or revoked, the system will not attempt a standard debit order and access to the programme will be revoked.
- Retail vouchers will be available to claim within 24 hours of signing up to the programme. Access to these benefits will continue following confirmation of successful DebiCheck or debit order deduction of your membership fee each month.
- If you sign up after the monthly cut-off date for setting up debit orders or DebiChecks – usually about two (2) days before the collection day – you’ll be considered a late sign-up.
- You’ll still get immediate access to JustMoney MyMoney Saver benefits, just like anyone who signed up earlier. However, because you missed this month’s payment run, your regular recurring deduction will only start on the 25th of the second month after you join.
- To make sure your membership stays active, a one-off joining fee will be collected by debit order a few days after you sign up (on the 1st of the following month).
- We reserve the right to increase your membership fee payable for JustMoney MyMoney Saver annually. The percentage increase to be imposed, if any, will be determined at JustMoney’s discretion and may vary each year. You will be provided with 30 days’ written notice of our intention to increase your membership fee. If you wish to cancel your membership as a result of the proposed increase, you must provide us with written notice at least one (1) calendar month before the increase takes effect. In addition to this, the benefits of the programme may be reviewed from time to time.
- If you miss a membership fee payment, your access to JustMoney MyMoney Saver – including all benefits, products, and services – will be revoked at the end of the month in which the missed payment occurred. You will not have access in the following month unless you reactivate your profile as outlined below.
- If you miss a membership fee payment, your access will end at the end of the month in which your payment was not successfully collected. You can reactivate your profile in the following month by logging into the DB Client Portal and following the prompts, similar to the original sign-up process.
- We may, from time to time, run additional promotions within JustMoney MyMoney Saver which are valid for a limited period only. Specific Terms and Conditions for these promotions will be available on the website when necessary.
- Access to JustMoneyMy MoneySaver benefits will be determined according to the following:

CBC reserves the right to terminate membership to the JustMoney MyMoney Saver programme with immediate effect if misuse is detected. You have the right to cancel the JustMoney MyMoney Saver Programme by giving us 30 (thirty) days’ notice of cancellation. Cancellation notice must be emailed to moneysaver@directrewards.co.za or call us on +27 87 825 0048.
- If you cancel your contract/product you will no longer have access to JustMoney MyMoney Saver benefits.
4. General Terms and Conditions
- The duration of the JustMoney MyMoney Saver membership and quantity of benefits may be extended or curtailed at our discretion.
- All participants must:
- Be legal residents of the Republic of South Africa;
- Be residing in the country at the date of the commencement of membership to JustMoney MyMoney Saver;
- Be at least 18 years old;
- Be in the possession of a valid South African identity document;
- JustMoney MyMoney Saver is offered subject to these Terms and Conditions, and in order to become a JustMoney MyMoney Saver member, these Terms and Conditions must be accepted.
- Errors and omissions may be accepted at our discretion.
- Failure by JustMoney to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
- We may extend the period of certain benefits at our discretion and members will be informed via an in platform message when this occurs.

5. What are the Terms and Conditions of the rewards benefits?
Online education (Boston Connect and Ivy Academy)
- Valid for six (6) months from date of claim;
- Vouchers are not transferrable;
- Voucher is not redeemable for cash and may not be on sold;
- Online courses are only accessed via the Boston Connect or Ivy Academy websites respectively;
- Each voucher code is valid for one course only and covers a maximum of R1,500 per course;
- The Member, by accepting, confirms that they have been given adequate opportunity to read and understand the Terms and Conditions for Boston Connect and Ivy Academy and that they have agreed thereto; and,
- The use of the voucher is subject to the Boston Connect (https://www.boston.ac.za) or Ivy Academy (https://learn.ivyuk.education/) terms and conditions, refer to the Boston Connect or Ivy Academy websites for full terms and conditions.
Bolt
- Voucher limited to two (2) 15% discounts off two (2) trips per month;
- Valid for 30 (thirty) days from date of claim;
- Trips can be from any destination within the borders of South Africa to which Bolt provides services;
- Trips are to be booked via the Bolt app, whereafter the customer will receive confirmation electronically;
- Voucher is not exchangeable for cash; and,
- The use of the voucher is subject to the Bolt terms and conditions, refer to the Bolt website (https://bolt.eu/en-za/) for full terms and conditions.
JustGo – Bus
- Limited to one (1) voucher for R150 off return bus travel per month;
- Valid for the member;
- Valid for 30 (thirty) days from date of claim;
- Voucher is not exchangeable for cash;
- Online bookings only on the JustGo website;
- Valid for travel within the borders of South Africa and Zimbabwe only;
- No change will be given against any voucher; and,
- The use of the voucher is subject to the JustGo terms and conditions, refer to the JustGo website (https://www.justgo.co.za/) for full terms and conditions.
JustGo – Flights
- Limited to one (1) voucher for R150 off flight travel per month;
- Valid for the member;
- Valid for 30 (thirty) days from date of claim;
- Voucher is not exchangeable for cash;
- Online bookings only on the JustGo website;
- Valid for travel within the borders of South Africa;
- No change will be given against any voucher; and,
- The use of the voucher is subject to the JustGo terms and conditions, refer to the JustGo website (https://www.justgo.co.za/) for full terms and conditions.
SL Travel
- Limited to two (2) R500 discounts on a standard travel package;
- Valid for 30 (thirty) days from date of claim;
- Voucher is not exchangeable for cash;
- Online bookings only on the SL Travel website;
- Valid for standard packages with SL Travel;
- Only one voucher may be redeemed per transaction;
- No change will be given against any voucher; and,
- The use of the voucher is subject to the SL Travel terms and conditions, refer to the SL Travel website (https://sl-travel.co.za/) for full terms and conditions.
Edgars, Style, and Legit
- Limited to 15% discount off a maximum spend of R500;
- To qualify for the tier discount, the member must purchase an electronic gift voucher and load it with the value required via the app;
- The discount is only applicable if the electronic gift voucher purchase is made in the month that the membership fee is received;
- The bearer of the electronic gift voucher may use it to purchase merchandise from participating stores;
- The gift voucher is valid for a period of 12 (twelve) months from date of purchase or upon full redemption thereof, whichever occurs first;
- The gift voucher cannot be used for payment of an account;
- The gift voucher cannot be exchanged for cash or used to purchase airtime;
- If the full value of the gift voucher is not used on your purchase, the balance will be transferred to a physical gift card;
- The electronic gift voucher will only be accepted if a valid electronic gift voucher is presented to the cashier;
- All electronic gift vouchers have specific terms and conditions as set out on the website, https://platform.debtbusters.co.za/
- The member, by purchasing the gift voucher, confirms that they are aware of and accept all the terms and conditions, as stipulated on the partner’s website; and,
- The use of the voucher is subject to the retailer terms and conditions, refer to the Edgars (https://www.edgars.co.za/) , Style (https://stylefashion.co.za/) or Legit (https://www.legit.co.za/) websites for full terms and conditions.
Nu Metro movie tickets and snack combos
- Limited to 50% discount off four (4) movie tickets and 50% off four (4) medium popcorn and Coke snack combos at select Nu Metro cinemas per month;
- Voucher codes must be redeemed via the Nu Metro kiosk;
- Valid for 30 (thirty) days from date of claim;
- Voucher codes expire after 24 hours of claim;
- Voucher code is not exchangeable for cash;
- Your unique Nu Metro discount code gives you 50% off the ticket price of any 2D or 3D movie. VIP and Xtreme movies are excluded; and
- The use of the voucher is subject to the Nu Metro terms and conditions, refer to the Nu Metro website (https://numetro.co.za/) for full terms and conditions.
Nando’s and Burger King
- Members can redeem one voucher in the Fast Food category, from a selection of vendors on a monthly basis;
- The voucher is based on the outlet’s standard online prices;
- Redemption of this voucher is not applicable in conjunction with any discount vouchers or loyalty programme;
- The voucher can only be used once per day;
- The voucher applies to meals that include drinks, including specials;
- Valid for 30 (thirty) days from date of claim;
- Voucher is not exchangeable for cash;
- Voucher is not transferrable; and,
- The use of the voucher is subject to the Nando’s or Burger King terms and conditions, refer to the Nando’s (https://www.nandos.co.za/) and Burger King (https://www.burgerking.co.za/) websites for full terms and conditions.
Fishaways and Steers
- Members can redeem one voucher in the Fast Food category, from a selection of vendors on a monthly basis;
- The voucher is based on the outlet’s standard online prices;
- Redemption of this voucher is not applicable in conjunction with any discount vouchers or loyalty programmes;
- The voucher can only be used once per day;
- The voucher applies to meals that include drinks including specials;
- Valid for 30 (thirty) days from date of claim;
- Vouchers can only be redeemed on the Fishaways or Steers website or on the Fishaways or Steers app;
- Voucher is not exchangeable for cash;
- Voucher is not transferrable; and,
- The use of the voucher is subject to the Steers or Fishaways terms and conditions, refer to the Steers (https://steers.co.za/) and Fishaways (https://fishaways.co.za/) websites for full terms and conditions.
Netflix
- Voucher limited to 10% off one (1) month subscription valued at R99;
- Voucher is limited to a per month use only;
- Voucher validity based on subscription option purchased;
- Voucher is not exchangeable for cash;
- Voucher is not transferrable;
- An internet connection is required to use the Netflix service;
- Subscription plans may be subject to change from time to time with a 30-day notification period;
- Savings on vouchers are based on regular/retail Netflix pricing; and,
- The use of the voucher is subject to the Netflix terms and conditions, refer to the Netflix website (https://www.netflix.com/za/) for full terms and conditions.
Spotify
- Voucher limited to 10% off one (1) month subscription valued at R66;
- Voucher is limited to a per month use only;
- Voucher valid for six (6) months from date of issue;
- Voucher is not exchangeable for cash;
- Voucher is not transferrable;
- An internet connection is required to use the Spotify service;
- Subscription plans may be subject to change from time to time with a 30 day notification period; and,
- The use of the voucher is subject to the Spotify terms and conditions, refer to the Spotify website (https://www.spotify.com/za) for full terms and conditions.
Checkers, Shoprite, and Dis-Chem
- Coupons shall be available for redemption up to five (5) times per month per member at applicable outlets;
- Multiple coupons for one product will not be accepted and do not constitute an aggregated savings on a specific item;
- Coupons may not be used in conjunction with any other in-store specials or promotions;
- Coupons are limited to the number of coupons specified by the member’s tier per month;
- Coupons may only be redeemed by displaying the code via the JustMoney MyMoney Saver app or website in-store;
- Valid for 24 hours from date of claim;
- Coupons are not exchangeable for cash; and,
- The use of the coupons are subject to the Checkers, Shoprite and Dis-Chem terms and conditions, refer to the Checkers (https://www.checkers.co.za/), Shoprite (https://www.shoprite.co.za/) and Dis-Chem (https://www.dischem.co.za/) websites for full terms and conditions.
Mangwanani Spa
- Voucher limited to one (1) per member per month;
- Limited to R100 discount voucher used on a standard package;
- Valid for 30 days from date of claim;
- Vouchers are not exchangeable for cash;
- Bookings are subject to availability;
- Only one (1) voucher from the Entertainment category can be claimed per member per month;
- Voucher is not transferrable; and
- The use of the voucher is subject to the Mangwanani Spa terms and conditions, refer to the Mangwanani Spa website (https://www.mangwanani.co.za/) for full terms and conditions.
Impact Adventure
- Voucher limited to one (1) per member per month;
- Up to R550 discount on a 2-for-1 voucher;
- Voucher is valid for 30 days from date of claim;
- Only one (1) voucher from the Entertainment Category can be claimed per member per month;
- Bookings are subject to availability;
- Vouchers are not exchangeable for cash;
- Voucher is not transferrable; and,
- The use of the voucher is subject to the Impact Adventure terms and conditions, refer to the Impact Adventure website (https://impactadventureafrica.co.za/) for full terms and conditions.
Acrobranch
- Voucher limited to one (1) per member per month;
- 20% discount per booking at any of the 10 nationwide parks;
- Valid for 30 days from date of claim;
- Only one (1) voucher from the Entertainment Category can be claimed per member per month;
- Vouchers are not exchangeable for cash;
- Bookings are subject to availability;
- Voucher is not transferrable; and,
- The use of the voucher is subject to the Acrobranch terms and conditions, refer to the Acrobranch website (https://acrobranch.co.za/) for full terms and conditions.
6. Rules relating to the JustMoney MyMoney Saver dining cashback benefit
- The dining cashback benefit entitles the active member only to a refund (cashback) on the second-most expensive meal purchased, provided:
- no less than two (2) meals and two (2) drinks are physically ordered and paid for by the active member from the qualifying restaurant;
- the claims are submitted with the restaurant receipt and proof of payment within 24 hours of dining;
- the active member has not exceeded the utilisation limit of a maximum of ten (10) claims per month;
- the active member has not exceeded the utilisation limit of R1,000 per month; and,
- the active member is at least 18 years of age.
- The cashback amount will be calculated as the second-most expensive meal purchased by the active member on the bill, up to a maximum of R100. Claims will be verified with the restaurant to ensure validity.
- The cashback claim will be processed within five (5) working days, unless otherwise specified. Over the December holiday period, claims may incur additional processing time.
- Crave, our dining service provider, reserves the right to adjust the processing period for which claims are processed.
- Any claims submitted with incomplete information, restaurant receipt or proof of payment missing, unclear receipt, or including meals or restaurants that do not qualify, will be delayed or declined.
- Cashback refunds are processed by Crave and not the restaurant. Accordingly, please refer all benefit queries to Direct Rewards: moneysaver@directrewards.co.za.
- The dining cashback benefit:
- is valid for a specified list of restaurants only. Crave shall be entitled, in their sole and absolute discretion, to amend the list of restaurants from time to time. Crave shall endeavour to promptly update this list as and when we are made aware of any changes. Whilst every effort will be made to ensure that all listed restaurants are trading, Crave will not be held liable in the event of any restaurant closures;
- is applicable to the restaurant’s standard prices only;
- cannot be used in conjunction with any special offers, promotions, discount vouchers or loyalty programmes;
- may be used for takeaway and delivery where available, provided at least two (2) meals and two (2) drinks are purchased;
- may only be used once per restaurant per day;
- does not apply to desserts, toppings, sides, “build your burger”, sharable platters, extras on burgers/pizzas etc.;
- applies to courses that include drinks, excluding specials;
- applies to individual line items on the menu, whereby one line item is the equivalent of one meal;
- may not be used within three (3) hours of a previous claim; and,
- may not be used at any restaurant at which the member or their immediate family is employed.
- A maximum of two memberships may be used per table, provided they are for different members. Each member must claim separately. In the case of two claims submitted, the first claim submitted and processed will attract the bigger cashback. The cashback amount will be calculated as follows:
- Membership 1: second-most expensive meal on the bill up to a maximum of R100, with a minimum of four (4) drinks; and,
- Membership 2: fourth-most expensive meal on the bill up to a maximum of R100, with a minimum of four (4) drinks.
- Cashback claims:
- must include all of the following in the claim submission:
- The original restaurant receipt, which must clearly display the following details: restaurant name, receipt number, receipt total, receipt date, receipt time, and meals ordered. Pro-forma invoices are not accepted; and,
- Proof of payment, which can consist of: cash receipt, debit card, or credit card slip, Snapscan or Zapper receipt. At Crave’s discretion, Crave may request additional proof of payment to be submitted along with any claims that are submitted e.g. front-of-card used or a bank statement. Failure to produce additional proof of payment will result in the claim being declined.
- must be submitted within 24 hours of the restaurant visit; and,
- will not be processed if the details on the receipt (restaurant name, date, and time) do not match the claim details.
- JustMoney MyMoney Saver membership is non-transferable and the benefit may only be utilised by the active member.
- Crave accepts no responsibility for the quality of service and/or meals at restaurants. Furthermore, Crave will not become involved in any non-Crave related disputes between members and restaurants.
- Crave processes and terms and conditions may be amended from time to time.
Failure to adhere to, or any attempt to circumvent the Crave terms and conditions, will result in eligibility to use the benefit being suspended or terminated. Crave will not be liable for any membership fee refunds or unpaid claims whatsoever in the case of any suspension or termination. Furthermore, if any instances of fraud are uncovered, Crave reserves the right to institute criminal proceedings against anyone suspected of committing fraud.
