Summer festivals are great fun, but they can cost a packet, so plan a budget and have as much fun as you can this summer

Synergy which kicks off this weekend is a three day music festival featuring some of South Africa's top live music acts. It's going to be a blast but a three day pass can cost you up to R380 if you didn't get the early bird tickets. When you are at the festivals you will need money for a bunch of other things. Food, drink, toilets, stalls and all the other things available for purchase, most festivals don't run like Afrika Burns!
So plan your budget, decide which summer music festivals you want to go to and get the early bird tickets. Some of the other great festivals that will be going down this summer include: Rezonance, Vortex, Alien Safari, AmaFullThrottle, Groovy Troopers and many more. Facebook is a great way to discover what is going down and you can check a list of upcoming events there. Plan ahead, have a wicked summer and afford those festivals.
