Where can I get an iPad in South Africa? How much do they cost?

By Staff Writer

It's taken a while, but the Apple iPad is finally available in South Africa. The question that everybody is now asking is, of course, where can I get an iPad and how much will the iPad cost?

The Apple iPad has not been officially been available in South Africa, however, people have still made a plan to get their hands on this device.

Importing an Apple iPad would set you back around R10 000 for a 64GB with Wi-Fi and 3G. However, Core are recommending a retail selling price of R7 599 for this model of the Apple iPad.

The pricing for the Apple iPad in South Africa starts at a recommended selling price of R4399 for a 16GB with WiFi model. This same model will cost R6 949 on iGear, while WantItAll is the most expensive seller of this item, pricing it at R6860.
