Black Friday: Where to find deals
So far, Justmoney has been able to find deals on DionWired, Kalahari, Hi-Fi Corp, Zando, Spree, Game and Checkers.
Black Friday is the day after Thanksgiving in the United States, and is often regarded as the start of the festive spending season. Not only do retail stores gear up for the big day in the States, but online stores slash their prices too.
Kalahari is offering up to 70% off on selected items. The deals are lasting till 23:59 tonight. For example, you can get the Samsung S3 Mini for R1499 – a saving of 60%.
There are also lots of other deals in other categories, but be advised that the site was slow this morning. It seems to up and running again now.
Zando says that you can get up to 80% off on their Black Friday sale. For example, R99 Utopia chain earrings have been knocked down to R39.
They have free delivery for orders of R250.
DionWired is having online deals to celebrate Black Friday. You can expect to find deals such as a Nespresso coffee machine for R3500 (it was R4300).
Game is having a Pink Friday deal and the deal is in-store only. For example, you can get an Xbox 360 plus four games for R2600.
Spree is also offering up to 80% off on "1000's of items" as says its website. Their website says that they offer free delivery within South Africa.
Here you will find deals on fashion, accessories and home décor items. For example, you can get a set of six bowls for R113 - it was previously R225.
Checkers is having up to 50% off on appliances and food, in-store. You can expect to get 2kg of potatoes for R10 or 50% off a Dolce Gusto coffee machine which is selling for R900.
Hi-Fi Corp is having a number of deals on electronics, and they are only available online for today. You can pick up a ACER laptop for R8499.90 (its previous price was R10999.90).
Even though all the sale prices look tempting, especially as Christmas is just around the corner, remember not to over spend. Make a budget for yourself and stick to it.
If there are any other deals that you have found, please let us know on either Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/justmoneysouthafrica), or on Twitter (@Justmoney).
