Biography Vinolan David of Standard Bank

Vinolan David is a senior executive with in-depth experience in business, operations and information technology. He has held roles across retail banking in Group IT, Credit Card, Group Shared Services and more recently the Head of SA Card Issuing, in South Africa. 
 
In his Operations Shared Services role, Vinolan was responsible for the Operations for Mortgages, Vehicle & Asset Finance, Credit Card across Africa, Insurance Services and Transactional Products. He also managed an extensive network of strategic partnerships with vendors who provided processing services to Standard Bank. 
 
Vinolan in his current role is responsible for the South African Credit, Debit, Cheque & Prepaid businesses. He is a member of the Pan African Card & Payments Exco as well as the Standard Bank South African Retail Exco with accountability for strengthening the links of the Card Business across the broader Standard Bank franchise. 
 
Vinolan has over the many years developed strong teams of professionals who have transformed the image of the businesses within Standard Bank that he has led. He continues to focus on leadership development, people engagement, innovation, execution diligence and leading edge business practices as the cornerstones of his transformation efforts.
 
Vinolan is well certified with a number of qualifications including most recently the Advanced Management Programme from the University of Wharton, Pennsylvania.
