Stikeez collectors will have the opportunity to swop out their Stikeez doubles at Pick n Pay stores (excluding clothing and liquor stores) across South Africa tomorrow (5 September).
Pick n Pay noted: “Stikeez fans – children and even adults – have been collecting Stikeez for the past five weeks and many of them have doubles of characters, and are missing some of the others. Pick n Pay is giving collectors a chance to swap their Stikeez with others so that they can complete their collection.”
The swop will take place between 10am and 12pm on Saturday, and gives collectors the opportunity to meet up with others crazy about Stikeez and to swop characters with one another.
“The popularity of Stikeez with our customers has exceeded our expectations. Stikeez have popped up all over the place – in offices, doctors’ consulting rooms and even on the bumpers and dashboards of cars. Teachers are finding that Stikeez can be used as a valuable educational tool in the classroom and some parents are using Stikeez to teach their children elementary mathematics, or even how to spend their pocket money wisely. Delighted moms report that their children have ditched the iPad, have put down the computer games and are ignoring the television to opt for some imaginative play with their new Stikeez friends. Some fans have even started on their second or third collections – a sure sign that Stikeez look set to become highly sought-after collectables,” revealed Pick n Pay.
