Over the weekend, Capitec Bank reportedly suffered a problem with its banking services. According to Fin24, the system issue affected card swiping and ATM services.
Justmoney contacted Charl Nel, head of marketing and communications at Capitec Bank to find out more. In an emailed response, Nel noted that the problem took place on Saturday, and the issue has since been addressed with all platforms having been restored. “All backlog transactions have been completed last night. It is business as usual since this morning.”
