The consensus is for South Africa's repo rate to remain unchanged at 12% at the conclusion of the South African Reserve Bank's (SARB's) Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) two-day meeting which gets underway in Pretoria today.

Justmoney.co.za says:

The interest rates might not rise, but you can still get a great savings account today, just in case they do. The Repo rate will also affect credit cards and the interest paid on bank accounts.
