Don't forget the other crisis, says IMF

While policy makers focus on imploding financial markets, another crisis continues to engulf the world's poor. Dominique Strauss-Kahn, the managing director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), said at a briefing last week: "It is important not to lose sight of the other crisis - the continued debilitating impact of food and fuel hikes on some of the world's poorest countries.
