All eyes will be on SA Reserve Bank governor Tito Mboweni when he announces the rate decision at 3pm today - one day after the world's biggest economies slashed lending rates to blow life into their stagnating economies.

Justmoney.co.za says:

The consensus amongst economists seems to be that rates will not change. There is very little chance of a cut, and a small chance of a raise. Regardless though, do you know how healthy your finances are? Have you worked out your budget? Do you have a savings account?
