Economic outlook not entirely bleak

In assessing the current economic outlook in SA, Business Unity South Africa (Busa) says that, while there are indisputable signs of a serious and rapid slowdown in economic and business activity in 2008, the overall growth outlook remains positive.

While we wait for the economy to turn you can cut back now. Open a savings account, consolidate your debt, or transfer your credit card balance. Don't let the downturn ride you, when you can ride it.
